Please note:

Mimi Lash is inside The Skin Project building at 63 West Street. We don't have a sign, so just arrive and walk-in.

When choosing eyelash extension or eyebrow microblading (eyebrow feathering), it's important to make sure you allow enough time to complete the initial consultation form if you are a new client.

Please be aware that we have quite a lot of free parking available on West Street, and around the shops. This is only a few steps away from the salon.

  • What is the difference between silk and mink eyelash extensions?
Silk Eyelash Extensions are a little less expensive than Mink, but the material is not as soft. You may be able to feel the silk lashes against your skin, whereas with the mink lashes, they are much softer. Secondly, the individual silk lash is heavier than the mink lash, so it may not last quite as long on your natural lash.
  • Are the Mink lashes cruelty-free?
Yes! You'll be glad to know that Mink is only the name of the soft feel for these lashes. They are actually synthetic, made of Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). This is a thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer, that is moulded into the shape of a lash.
  • How long will my lashes stay on?
That depends on you. We recommend that you do not expose your lashes to water for the first 24 hours. After that, it's fine to get your lashes wet. Try not to rub your lashes or smoosh them into the pillow when you sleep! You'll also need to keep waterproof mascara away, as it will melt the glue that holds your lashes. Your eyelash extensions will follow the fall rate of your natural lashes, but you should be able to keep a set for between 2 - 4 weeks. At the 2 week mark, it's a great idea to book a refill session.
